Working with the Village of Glenview, James assisted the village in establishing their first cluster home development guidelines.
	Villas of Indian Ridge, Glenview, IL This 23 Acre 60 townhouse planned unit development is situated within the Indian Ridge Community, a 272 single-family residences established in the early 1980s. This community reflects James' ability and willingness to work with their neighbors and to integrate the existing surroundings using their "build to the land" philosophy.
	Hunter's Ridge, Grayslake, IL This 50-acre, 125-unit, single family community was developed as a joint venture with a subsidiary of Cragin Federal Bank for Savings. Click to view larger	Tangley Oaks, Lake Bluff, IL Tangley Oaks is a luxury housing development on the 200-acre, heavily wooded former estate of of Philip D. Armour III. The $75 million development, begun in 1980 and also in partnership with Amoco Realty, included 172 single-family homes and 84 townhomes, and is a good example of the James' build-to-the-land philosophy: The wooded nature of the landscape was largely preserved, much to the benefit of the homebuyers and the environment.

This lakefront residence was the first co-op built in the old nomads land area of Wilmette. This is located across the street from the now famous Vista Del Lago shopping plaza.
